Bearsley Exports is based
in Hawke’s Bay on the East Coast of the North Island.
The Bay is famous for its fresh produce and is nicknamed “The
Fruitbowl of New Zealand”. The region has a temperate
Mediterranean climate and boasts the highest sunshine
hours of any region in New Zealand.
The Bearsley Group of Companies was established over
30 years ago by founder and Managing Director Danny
Bearsley. Each year over 50,000mt of produce is grown
and harvested by Bearsley Farms. The main crops include
apples, pears, plums, kiwifruit, squash, corn, onions
and carrots.
Our managers have a wealth of experience and expertise,
ensuring that only the highest quality produce is harvested
at exactly the right time in optimal condition.
Bearsley Exports specializes in the export marketing
of high quality fresh produce. To reduce costs and increase
the quality of produce reaching overseas customers,
Bearsley Exports assumed control of marketing and exporting
in 1999.
The operation has a sound base of assets including
land and farm equipment. Export business is transacted
throughout Asia Pacific, USA, UK and Europe.
Due to strong demand for its products, export growth
is expected to continue.
